Over the last seventy-five years, the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art has amassed a small but important collection of art dating from the late 19th to the early 21st centuries. Among the over 350 art works in the Permanent Collection, there are many gems. Through the Generations showcases thirty-four paintings, prints, and drawings created or collected by the founding members of the Museum prior to 1965.
